A skunk at school?

This morning, I got to class a little earlier than usual. I decided to walk to the closest Java City on campus for a cup of coffee. As I was walking, I smelled something terrible. It was the faint smell of skunk. As I walked, the smell got stronger and stronger. I was shocked that there would actually have been a skunk on campus. How weird. Within 20 feet of the Java city, I realized it. There had been no skunk. I was smelling Java City, fresh brew. Gag. Needless to say, I had tea this morning.
Long live Starbucks, which does not have any resemblance to SKUNK.

Kara's First Digital Scrapbook

Click to play Kaya on the Glass Stairs

This is a quick digital scrapbook that I thought would be fun to play with. It is not as neat as a real paper scrapbook, but this was a lot easier.

This series of pictures are from the last day of the cruise I think; also, I think Kelcey or Eli took them. They came out really sweet.

Countdown Time!

I have not posted in a while, partly because I have been busy, but also because I didn't know what was exciting enough to post about. I have not really gone anywhere or done anything big since Christmas, nor have I taken interesting or funny pictures like others in my family have done. The biggest thing in my life is trying to get through this last semester to graduation! Yahoo. What better way to pass the time than staring at a countdown clock! A favorite past-time of mine anyways. So when you are just sitting around, wondering how long I have left in school, now you don't have to waste time calculating it; log on, and the information will be provided for you. How wonderful. Ok, maybe I am the only one who will do that. So now instead of studying and preparing to pass my classes before the upcoming event, I will be anxiously watching the seconds tick by!

Festivus for the rest of us!

This is just a reminder for everyone that Festivus is December 23rd. This is a holiday to celebrate the "Airing of Grievances" and the "Feats of Strength." We will replace our Christmas tree for the day with the Festivus Pole.

Enjoy everyone!

National Roast Suckling Pig Day

Well, I always like to look at the bizzare American holidays, and I am quite sad because on the 16th, we all missed chocolate covered anything day. So to make up for it, we should celebrate "National Roast Suckling Pig Day!" While there is not any factual information on this bizzare holiday, it is speculated that it came from some kind of holiday just in advance of Christmas. Especially it will be great to celebrate it since everyone is not busy with the holidays at all, and surely have time for roasting a suckling pig. Enjoy. Here is a picture of the one I did tonight, after one of my finals.

*Just kidding, I borrowed this picture from a search on google images. If I was going to roast one, it would look like this for sure!
